Whalehammer will be playing live this Sunday 30th September at Scott's party.

Whalehammer will also be playing at the Hyde Park Hotel on Wednesday, 31st October

with some other bands. Details to come.

A live recording of Whalehammer's set at the Hyde Park Hotel on August 29th can now be downloaded from www.doddrell.com/mp3, as a zip file in the Whalehammer section. This improvised doozy goes for around 36 minutes. It is a song called 'Atlantis'. It was recorded on Minidisc by Scott.

Whalehammer LP - 'The Birthing Hour'

This is Whalehammer's second album, entitled 'The Birthing Hour'. It followed the first, self-titled album by about 6 months. This is the first document of the current Whalehammer quartet lineup. It was recorded in one session, live to hard drive, completely improvised in the usual Whalehammer fashion, and mixed that night. The album explores the themes of childbirth, the womb, higher beings and ritualistic slaughter. 5 tracks, 60 minutes.
