This is Whalehammer's second album, entitled 'The Birthing Hour'. It followed the first, self-titled album by about 6 months. This is the first document of the current Whalehammer quartet lineup. It was recorded in one session, live to hard drive, completely improvised in the usual Whalehammer fashion, and mixed that night. The album explores the themes of childbirth, the womb, higher beings and ritualistic slaughter. 5 tracks, 60 minutes.
